Here's What's Next: Get Started with Stripe

You MUST complete the following three steps with Stripe.

  1. Connect your existing Stripe account to Give Lively. This is a critical first step.

    Once this is done, you have two more required steps with Stripe:

  2. Confirm in Stripe that ACH (direct bank transfers) is enabled to accept donations. While ACH setup is critically important, it is NOT automatically enabled in Stripe. By default, Give Lively technology allows donations through ACH, so proper implementation is critical. Steps to set up ACH in Stripe

After you have completed these steps with Stripe, your membership application will be sent to Give Lively for review.

Here's What's Next: Claim Your New Stripe Account

Stripe is the independent service we use to process donations to nonprofits' bank accounts.

Give Lively's fundraising technology will not function if your nonprofit does not have a fully authorized Stripe account.

To get this going:

  • Open the email from Stripe titled "Give Lively payments: claim your Stripe account".
    • Don't see the email? Make sure you check the email account that you entered when signing up for Give Lively membership.
  • Follow the instructions in the email to activate your Stripe Account and connect it to Give Lively.

After you have completed these steps with Stripe, your membership application will be sent to Give Lively for review.
